In 2004 a criminal operation was intiated through a Michigan corporation called

Bring Varvara Home Inc.
(Mich. corp. id. no. 776823)

to destroy the lives of a man and his family while making the fraudsters rich and famous.

This very same web site was launched as part of that effort. The money that was raised through it was pocketed by the ringleader and her American relations.

The magazine cover on the left is one that the fraudsters would have really liked to have seen.

This site is now under
new management.

Bring Varvara Home Inc. initially succeeded at defrauding the authorities and in raising thousands of dollars in donations from the gullible public for the personal use of the fraudsters.

Christina Wehmer Golm statement on child visitation

The child in question, who in early 2007 was "rebaptised" Barbara by her non-custodial mother, is most definitely not missing:

Although the scheme caused significant damage to the reputations of the American born-and-bred father of Varvara, Emmanuel Lazaridis, and of his immediate family, and caused considerable disruption to their private lives, it eventually unravelled.

The ringleader was arrested, arraigned and convicted of multiple counts of criminal libel on June 26, 2008 and January 19, 2009. Other criminal proceedings are still pending against her, including charges of bigamy and child endangerment.

Some people and organizations continue to adhere, doggedly and with criminal intent, to the fraudulent story that there is a child named Varvara Lazaridis who is missing. They are presently circulating the child's pictures and personal data, and asking for contributions from the public.

The distribution and circulation of the images and personal data of a child without the explicit authorisation of a custodial parent is strictly prohibited by law.

Violators will be pursued and prosecuted.

If you would like to help protect this child from the acts of missing child fraudsters, you may contact her father, Emmanuel Lazaridis, directly by telephone at +30 693.902.7351.
